Obama calls for rebuilding U.S. economy
US President Barack Obama said Saturday the United States needed to do more than just reclaim jobs lost to the recession, as he called for rebuilding the economy to make it secure for future generations.
“Our mission isn’t just to put people back to work – it’s to rebuild an economy where that work pays; an economy in which everyone who works hard has the chance to get ahead,” Obama said in his radio and Internet address.

Are the American people supposed to congratulate this man (actually, his speechwriter), for his magnificent grasp of the obvious?!?
Memo to President Obama: you cannot build this economy and move it forward without ending the Federal Reserve (from which the US government borrows money at interest, rather than printing money itself as it is constitutionally allowed to do), and ending these immoral and illegal wars, and I mean, immediately.
But of course, you will do neither. You are a creature created and supported by monied interests, with no real concern about whether Americans are working or not.
Monied interests love war, because the banks always make out like the corporate bandits they are; monied interests love outsourcing American jobs, because corporations make a better bottom line by using what is tantamount to slave labor; and monied interests don't care if this country collapses. They have hedged their financial bets in places like the Cayman Islands, impervious to US government inquiries or tax laws.
