A Palestinian young man died of wounds sustained on Friday during an anti-wall and settlement protest in the village of Nabil Saleh near the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Mustafa Tamimi, 28 was pronounced dead Saturday after being hit with a teargas canister directly to his face at a short range.
Palestinian media sources said Tamimi was throwing rocks at the armoured Israeli jeep when one of the soldiers opened the door and fired the teargas canister at him.
Local sources said Israeli military prevented Palestinian ambulance from arriving to the scene and Tamimi was evacuated to an Israeli hospital, where he passed away in the intensive care unit.
The village of Nabi Saleh organizes weekly protests against Israeli plans to confiscate part of the villagers' land to build an Israeli settlement
